| Commercial English is suitable for elementary

- who are aiming to follow a Business Course
- studying in commercial colleges
- employed in, travel, tourism, banking or other
trade or commercial activities
- studying general English but who enjoy a practical
approach to learning
- secretaries and office administrators

- The course focuses on using communicative functions,
both written and spoken. Language is presented in
context, for example, in a letter or memo, a dialogue
or telephone call.
- Performing tasks. The student is given 'real'
tasks such as filling in order forms, writing letters
and memos and using charts.
- Acquiring structural patterns. The student is
presented with basic grammatical rules and structural
patterns of English. These are presented in context
and practised in exercises.
