English in Medicine
is for doctors, medical students in the clinical phase
of their studies and other medical professionals at
an intermediate level who have to use English to communicate
with patients and their relatives and with medical
colleagues. |
It aims to develop
speaking and listening skills primarily but attention
is also given to reading skills, in particular the
use of reference material and journal articles. Practice
is also provided in writing referral letters and completing
a range of medical documents. |
